WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy will unleash four new anti-drug spots that also promote anti-marijuana Web sites during the Super Bowl.

Two ads will run during Sunday's game broadcast and two others will air on the pregame show on Walt Disney Co.'s ABC.

The National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws is highly critical of the White House's plan to place such emphasis on anti-marijuana in the Super Bowl messages.

Drug czar Drug czar John Walters since last spring has been moving to increase the anti-marijuana tone of the drug office ads as part of several changes made after an evaluation of the campaign suggested it was affecting parents but not children.

Garfield, commercials, Willie Nelson, celebrities, ads, third arm, dentists.

The ads are typically kept under wraps until game day, but Garfield --- who gets a sneak preview annually --- shared five of them from companies that allowed them to be shown in advance.

One that Garfield considered funny is for H & R Block, the nation's largest tax-preparation firm, which features country singer Willie Nelson.

Another commercial uses celebrities, Michael Jordan and actor Jackie Chan to introduce Hanes' tagless T-shirts.

"Lots of humor, lots of celebrities, and more storytelling than usual in commercials."

The guy goes on to explain about his third arm saying it is "the best thing" he's ever done.
